The Finnish Transport Safety Agency (Trafi) continues to restrict aviation in the flight information region of Finland due to volcanic ash.
To ensure flight safety, Trafi has decided to extend the validity of an earlier decision on air traffic restrictions made on 23 April. The decision is based on a classification adopted by the EU Council of Transport Ministers, which divides the airspace into three zones according to ash density.
The restrictions apply to flights with powered aircraft on the same conditions as in the earlier decision.
