Validity of decision on operating procedures in volcanic ash affected areas will not be extended

To ensure flight safety and in accordance with international recommendations, the Finnish Transport Safety Agency (Trafi) issued a decision on aviation in areas affected by volcanic ash on 23 May 2011.

The decision was in force until 6 June 2011. There is no need to extend the validity of the decision.

The Finnish Transport Safety Agency will issue a new decision if it becomes necessary.
