Using a registration certificate

When operating a vehicle in traffic, the driver must keep the technical part (Part I) of the registration certificate available in the vehicle. The notification part (Part II) should be carefully retained; it is used when submitting changes to the vehicle registration information. Registration notification instructions are printed on the reverse side of the notification part.

When towing a trailer or driving a rented car, the technical part (Part I) or a copy authenticated as genuine within the last six months must be kept in the vehicle. Such a copy is available at inspection sites.
